The views are beyond worth the lack of sleep. Sunrise in the mountains are magical to begin with, the soft yellow glow slowly lifting the dark veil form over the sharp granite peaks. Sunrise from above the mountains, watching every inch of the iconic Colorado Front Range be revealed by the coming of a new day, simply gives you a new perspective. Suddenly, you get a feeling for how large our world is, how lucky you are to be a part of it, how magical it is to be able to experience from such a different perspective.
